Perkins 6.354

Second time starting this old Perkins model 6.354 Diesel engine after it sat for about 10-15 years in a field. It was a generator that will be converted to a marine propulsion engine for a old logging tugboat I own. This engine is rated at 135hp and only burns about 3 gallons per hour at full throttle.

I saw the video of your sae 400. Have a similar project going on. Swapping a 2-71 into the place of a Hercules. Would greatly appreciate any help or pics of the engine/generator coupling set up.
