Can’t wait for the daily Christmas advent knit along! For anyone who isn’t sure about trying double pointed needles - just give it a go. That’s what I did and I was surprised how easy it was, much better than magic loop in my opinion. Trust me, you won’t even notice anymore once you’re totally addicted to knitting these Christmas balls 😂

A friend of mine grew up in northern Wisconsin or Minnesota and he said he was 12 years old before he realized most people didn't need to know Norwegian to go to the hardware store...

I love how Carlos always says that it is a 30-minute program, and then sometime in the program, usually around 45 minutes to an hour, he will remark that they have been talking for a little more than 30 minutes. It makes me chuckle every time. Thank you for spending "30 minutes" with us I look forward to it each week!

I felt like we were sitting in a Parisian cafe. The collage in the background and the cafe table with the patterned table cloth. As always, your episode is a gift.

I use Addi Flexi Flips - a cross between DPNs and circular needles. I plan to make a Christmas ball for my week old granddaughter- and then one new one every year for her.

So fun laughing with you two this morning!
For ppl who are new to using DPN's- I remember being afraid my work would fall off the needles. Use wooden needles. The stitches stick to them more than with metal needles. Also, because there will be so few stitches on each needle, you can keep the stitches in the center of each needle you're not vworking on, & they won't fall off. It's easier than it looks. Give it a try!

I look forward each week to these sessions more than any other on YouTube. You are both so informative and good humored and obviously respect one another a great deal. The time goes by so fast.
