I love how you come into learning more about football/soccer so respectfully, and really make an effort to learn why so many people love it. With that being said, I think you’re being kind to this video. It’s essentially just a click-farm, they get a lot of contextual details wrong, and some details they’ve omitted are disrespectful to true legends of the game. It’s also for the most part only top-level goals from modern history. While all these goals are great, there have been many crazier or contextually more meaningful goals scored by players with a smaller profile. Deeney’s promotion goal for Watford against Leicester City, Tim Cahill’s volley for Australia against the Netherlands in a World Cup, even top level players from yesteryear aren’t included in this list. There are also a lot of crazy amateur goals on YouTube worth looking at.
