“Meet the Lake Sturgeon!”

Join the [Great] Lakes Roadtrip Crew at the Aquatarium, in Brockville, along the St. Lawrence River! We’ll be getting up close and personal with the Aquatarium’s collection of lake sturgeon, the largest fish in the Great Lakes region, and learning all about this ancient species from Aquatarium educators.

Note for teachers: Roadtrip programs will be presented with a level of language that is accessible for all grades and offer a real-world connection to the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum at many grade levels. The themes explored in this session may be most relevant for grades 1-4.

The [Great] Lakes Roadtrip is presented by the Toronto Zoo’s Great Lakes Program (GLP) and Turtle Island Conservation (TIC).
