The Biggest Hassle for Foreigners in India (Dealing with Touts)

See how many touts approach me on a 1.5km walk to the Taj Mahal in Agra! Touts & scammers in India are the biggest hassles for foreigners travelling in India. Tourists in India are hassled all day long by these touts selling overpriced rickshaw rides, food, and handicrafts. Being hassled so much while travelling in incredible India really starts to annoy you and wreck your day.

Hear me trolling them back in Hindi.

A big issue with these guys is foreigners are so used to being approached by these touts that when a local actually tries to help them or just say hello, they might think he's a tout too! It's very bad behaviour.

Don't interact, don't make eye contact, don't talk, just walk away.

When someone calls you "My friend" in a foreign country, they are definitely not your friend

No wonder why you can speak so well. You literally repeat the same thing everyday 100 times 😂

Must be stressful

Man I admire the patience. The amount of times he’s having his intelligence insulted by the locals thinking he’s some dumb foreigner is ridiculous.

As a fellow Indian, I can still relate to this. Specially, when travelling with luggages. They harass you ruining your experience.

I'm from South India. I have had the same experience. It doesn't matter if you are foreigner or not. They know you are a tourist and they will surely try to get their business.

As an introvert who is from Canada, I would never be able to live there I was getting pissed at them for not just leaving you alone
