A good Garen player is more about trading and backing off. A fight should never last long enough for him to come off cooldowns during the engage.

This video inspired me to play Garen.
Bought sunfire cape, randuins, tabi, BC, and visage.
250 Armor w/o using 30% reduc on his w.
Post raka heal had 400 armor.
Also 4k hp.
I could kill their Kogmaw before I stopped spinning and come out with 7/8 HP.

I don't think J4 was meant for dmg anyways, he has WAY too much ultility and cc to have much dmg on his hands.

With his Ultimate (The MS buff, and the Cooldown reset) and his Alpha Strike some may feel as if Flash is not so necessary.

It's not the worst thing he could have done. Cheesy in terms of consistency/reliability, but whatever.
