I grew up in the 80s as a teenager I'm 50 now and I live in the hood. I wouldn't change a thing. My people's got more personality and charm dance and voice I'm happy to be here. Color ethnic backgrounds mean nothing. We all feel the same.

We shouldn't mark every negative thing in history. We should mark the more rare and more difficult to achieve moments that were purely beneficial. I have no interest in idiots that want to enshrine war, death, and misery. Black people have invented things and accomplished things no one else has. Mark those moments. They are more important.
