I visit Monterrey in Nuevo Leon, northern Mexico. Just a couple of hours drive from the US border, Monterrey is one of Mexico's largest cities - surrounded by its iconic mountains.

Monterrey is not a tourist destination per se, however, it’s Mexico’s economic powerhouse. Lots to do and see in Monterrey.

Monterrey is one of my favorite cities in Mexico, it has a lot of modern areas compared to other cities but also it has its colonial architecture too. It's pretty cool

you look really happy in this Mexico series... I'm quite sure this has a lot to do with Valeria traveling with you, but I like to think that it's also down to the beauty of Mexico itself... when I traveled there, I couldn't stop smiling!!!

I'm from Monterrey. Happy you enjoyed the city. There's more to know outside the city (40min-1.20hrs) Here my options: grutas de garcía, huasteca, cola de caballo, bustamante (grutas y ojo de agua). Hidalgo (potrero chico, great if you like to climb). And chipinque is a good options to do excercise and enjoy a good look of the city.

I always said this: it's more exciting to arrive to Monterrey than arriving to Houston, I love Monterey México ❤️

Best places to visit are not in City but in the surroundings like Santiago, Cola de Caballo, Grutas de García and Bustamante. The City is just a huge city.

Awesome video! You should’ve hiked chipinque! I reckon it’s worth the view up there. Also going to either tigres or rayados game/stadium. There’s also some pretty high end mall’s there. However, you can really see some contrasts from block to block.

Monterrey is the second largest and most important city in Mexico, a city that is developing very fast with many skyscrapers and world-class urbanism. The tallest tower of Latin American is there and construction of the second tallest tower of all the americas "Rise Tower" with 480 meters.

Yeah, Monterrey is not a turist place.

It's the industrial capital of latin america, it is in fact the most industrialized city in Latin America, and also has the highest GDP per capita, which makes it the richest city in Latin America as far as I know...

Turism in Monterrey is almost purely bussiness, and there is a lot of it. Bussiness turism.
