Women Want to Control Men and Don't Trust Them to Lead

Do some women want to control the men that they are with and not allow those men to lead them? Is this an issue for Black women or American women or does the Bible say this will be an issue from the very beginning? How can we create an environment that makes women feel comfortable enough to allow men to lead them?

As a man you have to prove that she can rely on you. And when you load the dishwasher and it isn't quite the way she would have done it, she could chose to let you load the dishwasher and just appreciate what you did, or she can tell you how to do it better. Supervising how you load the dishwasher will eventually burn her out and he may shut down and start letting her do it. Yes a man you have to show consistency, etc. and as a woman you have to learn to receive, to be helped, to trust a man when he is worthy of it. Sometimes a woman trying to stay in control is another way she is pursuing security and her experiences have shown her she can't trust the men around her to provide it or she doesn't need them to give her security. So she picks men she can control because she will knock heads with a "strong" man. The problem is that same woman will fight for control and then resent the man for letting her have it.

The issues are complex but somewhat self sabotage..most BW and BM did not have a male role model to show a son how to lead and show a daughter how to be led. Women compound this by dating bad relationships of junk and when a real one comes along her muscle memory kicks in and self sabotage the relationship by not trusting him. On the other hand it takes most men until they are in their mid 30’s to gain the experience of learning how to lead. Leadership is a learning skill set and it takes time. Without a father..it’s almost a guarantee that that man had no mentor to show a man how to move in this world.

Controversial question: do men see women with locks or braids as feminine? Would you provide for this woman? You don’t see many women with locks or braids at galas for the elite or on yachts.

What I'm about to type is not going to be well-liked. As a Black woman, I agree with the woman who said women want someone they can control. I was hoping she used a better example than the Birkins bag. Unfortunately in the Black community, a lot of women were left to raise their families on their own therefore that control has carried from generation to generation of women. From what I have observed, most Black women are controlling. BUT I know the history to why..
