A great choice, I bought one last year and they are a fantastic car for the back roads. All the best with it, I hope there will be plenty of videos coming 👍

Awesome car and color! I’m a bigger fan of the 2zz Elises myself but I see you’re expanding the midship collection!

Very nice. I admit I hadn't paid much attention to the S1s since purchasing an S2, even though the S1 is what I first fell in love with when it debuted in AutoWeek so long ago.

Used to own a 111S in Azure blue. Lovely looking thing. Get the suspension sorted as priority. Nasty cable operated gear change. Seems sunny where you live, so all the leaks shouldn't be to much of a problem 😂 keep up the 986 content too please 👍

I drive a Boxster. That's why I came here. Now you are driving in a Lotus Elise. A car I once will have. The S2 in my situation. Can't wait what you gonna do with it.

Self evidently it’s an early one - looks standard apart from the non MMC brakes. Also has the aluminium boot lid & it looks very undented as they tend to bend when pushed shut. Look forward to your impressions of it. Enjoy.

Best of luck and I look forward to the videos that will follow. One of my favorite cars of all time - I'm very envious! I'll likely stick with my '99 Boxster though. Was also admiring that TVR behind it. May your road be clear and winding!

So funny, I saw a yellow one on 421 today and thought...I need an Elise!

I bought a 2005 Elise around 3 months ago (US spec, of course) and can't get over how much of a blast it is to drive. Being a Lotus fanatic since I was 9 years old, I'm debating whether to pick up an Evora or an S1 Elise after I pay off my '05. If I consider an S1, then I will definitely look into working with David at Robin Hood Motors, especially since I'm not too far away (Upstate SC area).

Can't wait to see more S1 content and learn about the purest Elise there is!

Nice new addition, was looking at the TVR in the background though!

Omg I’ve always wanted an Elise Aaron. What a beaut!
There’s a few out here in San Francisco but likely no right hand drive. Fantastic new toy which means you’re seriously distracted from your boxster 🤣

Congrats bro!❤

I’ve had/got both, the Elise goes round corners better than the 986 contrary to what some will tell you. Straight line speed is poor though, I had the 111s and still miss it to this day.

One of the finest handling cars ever made
Add lightness ( Colin Chapman )
Head gasket the critical fault on a K series engine but tons of fixes and nothing to you

I absolutely love these especially the first ones

I’m looking to import one exactly like that. S1 in blue. Unless you’re looking to sell
This one already?

What chassis number did you get there? A P-reg one is pretty early. Mine is number 230 and first registered P565TTX but now living in Aus.

Alot of people in the forums and on Facebook talking about you're distancing yourself away from the porsche Brand...is that true?
