In Irénée-les-Neiges, a small, isolated town with a population of 215, Simon Dubé dies in a car accident. The stunned townspeople are reluctant to discuss the circumstances of the tragedy. From that point on, for the Dubé family as well as for Mayor Smallwood and a handful of others, time seems to lose all meaning, and the days stretch on without end. Something descends slowly upon the area. In this period of mourning and in this fog, strangers start to appear. Who are they? What is happening?

Spiked with tragic humour and straddling the line between social realism and the supernatural, this film is based on Laurence Olivier’s novel of the same title. A story about the Other and the fear it inspires.

Très déçu de la qualité du film.
La qualité de l’image est médiocre ainsi que le mouvement saccadé et instable.
Sans oublier également la qualité du son qui parfois est indescriptible…j’ai à plusieurs reprise reculer la scène pour comprendre et Niettt rien compris même pas deviner les parole.
M. Denis Coté semble vouloir copier le principe du cinéaste : (M.Night Shyamalan) film....Le Village
Dommage : tellement de Bon acteur, bel région du Québec.
Certaine scène semble avoir été filmée avec un smartphone…mais pas les nouveaux !
