Also: Desperado --- a move in which a piece that will be lost anyway captures something, usually a pawn, to make a sequence of captures profitable.

Simple, Easy to understand, and underrated! Many people say "Remember me when you get Famous" but I say I'll always watch you even if you're not Famous!

pretty sure ur description for double attack is actually just a queen fork (a fork done by a queen), shouldn't a double attack be when a piece or square (normally the king) is attacked simultaneously by 2 pieces... forcing it to move?

Using the berserk sacrifice sigil is wild 💀

the fact that most of these concepts were explained twice and the fact that most of these terms are borderline incorrect

97% correct. Sorry I didn’t get time stamps and don’t want to watch it again but if you are over 500 you’ll see them.

funny to learn that moving one of your back pawns where you hide your king is called "Luft", cause I always referred to it as "cracking open a window to give the king some air"

Chess player here, the battery pawn is also referred to as a double pawns. It may be a disadvantage but it may be also useful. Appreciate the video thought :))

Personally, I wouldn’t include specific openings as general terms just bc there’s a massive umbrella of them. Great vid though :)

Chess is easy to learn, but hard to master. If you are a newbie or a beginner just getting into chess, don’t be overwhelmed by the amount of terminology. Chess, like most games, has levels to it. The terminology works the same. Don’t expect a beginner to know what zugzwang is and how to implement it. Take your time and have fun :)
