Jaune stayed so SO strong while in the Ever After, being alone for years on end and not going (entirely) insane! He was just like he was in Volume 1, where he tried to play the hero, but ended up realizing that he didn't need to. He just needed to be himself. And that was being the best kind of person I have seen from this show.

As for Weiss...the girl has been through quite a bit herself! A tormenting father, drunk mother, arrogant brother, and a sister that kinda left her without her, but she followed either way in order to escape EVERYTHING!
And yet, she still brought her father's teachings with her in terms of personality, dunking on Jaune every time he appeared, which I can see him being annoying for so I don't blame her. But she eventually saw what the real world was like, and learned about fun, care, and humility from friends and foes alike!
Her becoming the comedy segment for Volume 9 is kind of showing how far she has come! Once again, it sort of showed her personality from Volume 1, but put a new spin on it! She still remembers everything about her journey, and doesn't undermine Jaune's trauma as something that doesn't exist. She trusts him and finds him reliable. So when he starts breaking down, she knows it's not for no reason, and she puts all that care and humility to work. She reassures him, compliments his efforts, and gives him the best show of companionship anyone can give. A hug!

These two alone are some of the best written characters in the show, with developement that is rivaled by none other than a few people. They deserve nothing but happiness after everything.
And just to clarify, if it wasn't already obvious; yes! I do ship them. But not originally, nor excessively. I thought they were just gonna be a funny thing and then move on, but they have supported each other in so many ways.

Jaune sending Neptune her way at the dance. Weiss accepting his idea and strategy to steal a freaking military aircraft! Jaune literally saving her life and Weiss returning the favor by owning the bad guys. HECK even her accepting his invitations to go to the movies was such adorable development in itself!

But you get the idea. I love talking about great characters and these two are exactly that by themselves as much as they are great together! And whether they get together or not? I'd love for that to be the case! But even if they don't, I will still love them. And they will still love each other, whether platonically or romanticly!

I remember this back in 2013 I was in college going to work I watched rwby after work or school. I mean damn after all these years with rooster teeth I enjoy every last but of it. I fear what will happen to wb games but wb as a whole. Because what they fucked up with kill the justice league bs if they never hire SBI they wouldn't be in this mess. SBI is the reason why the game failed and now look at it. Rooster teeth made funny videos from panics and red vs blue. Damn i whis they made a mod lik a crossover between fear and halo. 2004 to 2024 20 years of fun.
