Good tutorial, with solving problems included. That's the way to learn correctly, not with previous cooking... If you can do a more profound i3-tutorial of config several bars (pybar, bumblebee-status), i will appreciate it so much. Greetings and thanks.

Thanks for the video I started using DWM last year but recently over the last 2 or 3 months started using i3 and came across Luke Smith's i3 script for Arch (LARBS) I altered it slightly to get from it what I wanted. As he is American he has a US keyboard by default which I changed to UK and I have dual monitors which I changed in his script also. He has a Youtube channel under his name. It also uses i3 Gapps.

You should check out Nils Kvist's channel he has some cool videos on configuring i3 as well as a bunch of custom scripts he has made.

I got my i3 setup pretty much the way I want it now, although it's still pretty minimal lol, but there is just one thing that bothers me just a little bit and wish I could fix . I like to have 4 terminals on my first workspace and I get them split the way I want them ( like a square, 2 split vertically on the left and the same for the right side), the problem I'm having is the focus of the windows when I move the focus around with my keys, like for example if I go to the top right terminal and move the focus of the window to the left top terminal instead of it going exactly to the left top terminal, it jumps to the left bottom terminal instead. Would you know of a way to fix that ? Like forcing the focus to the direction I want it. If I focus the window to the left from the top right terminal it would move my focus to the top left terminal . sorry for the long explanation it is hard to explain lol, any help would be appreciated and this would make my experience perfection with i3 :)
