The Soundtrack CD for The Pebble and the Penguin arranges the songs out of Movie order (songs for the first half, score for the second half), but originally instead of ending with the pop version of now and forever it repeats the Finale version. Liberties were taken here to arrange the film's songs in Movie order and include the Pop version.

If you know your Don Bluth films, and understand music, you might notice something interesting about this song.

It follows the same chord progression as "Love Survives" from All Dogs Go to Heaven. You'll really notice this towards the end when it's even being played in the same key.
