As a Tax payer, I am truly curious when the BOS is going to start paying attention to what's going on over there. I'm so tired of them not doing their jobs when it comes to MCACC over the years~

The speakers made excellent points. The leadership at MCACC should be held accountable for the poor conditions these poor poor babies are being forced to live in, and some DIE in. We play GOD, we imprison them, and we force them to sit in 108 degree temperatures. What happened to the fans? Why is the cooling system not fixed after all this time? Who is fighting for the DOGS? Only the volunteers. The people "running" the shelter should be forced to find new positions where they aren't responsible for living beings, and the volunteers who actually care reinstated. This is shameful.

So happy for these speakers to step up and speak for the volunteers wrongfully fired. They are the ones who make a difference.

I am so happy this is being heard and expect some forensic accounting be done along with shelter accountability! I've been following this since the beginning and AHS and MCACC need to be held accountable. I donate regularly both money and supplies and frankly will stop until something is done! Firing volunteers for a few comments is unconscionable!
