Transcdental endeavours never go waste. This practice of bhakti should be done intensely. Example of JadaBharata is really nice

Hare Krishna prabhuji,
Transcendental endeavors, or the practice of yoga,  never go in vain.
By the grace of the Lord the transcendentalist gets repeated opportunities for complete perfection in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

The yogi who fell down in the previous birth takes birth in a good or transcendental family in the next birth. He will get a good chance to practice bhakti and he will be attracted to this and does hard work. Bharat maharj and his three births are illustrating these.
