For real though, it's so obvious when content creators try to talk about politics without having much knowledge about it. They end up just repeating random stuff they heard in the news with no context.

Obviously the guy talking politics is better than the one talking drama because while one talks, the other simply becomes the guy from the hit movie Dune that sings for the Harkonnen army, obliterating any arguments against him.

Ironically the unimportance is why YouTube Drama is more focused on here. If you care about something important you always have to worry about what's going to happen next and feel awful when something inevitably goes wrong. But if you care about something meaningless you can never be hurt, because it never mattered in the first place. That's not to say its right, but it's certainly easier.

I mean, it makes sense. Putting any amount of research into politics ends in ‘maybe I do wanna be a ghost’. Researching dumb internet drama is waaaay easier, cuz you can laugh at the end and be happy that the bad guy isn’t helping run your government
