Lol, thresh takes skill to use. That hook delay is crazy and the lantern is also delayed for when you actually need it. Also, his ultimate is delayed too and the perimeter is pretty small. He's one of the most fun supports however.

I think he did get the shield. It was just too quick and the shield absorbed the damage instantly.

I was friends with a guy who was bronze II and he rarely got beaten at mid, there are good players stuck in low elo for stupid reasons :)

if you are unable to carry alone, you could always duoqueue :p

try to feed ur adc, and hope he's good enough to actually do something with the kills :3. Engage at good moment, like, use a nami ult to start a teamfight. Make good calls, for example when someone is bot, you start baron. If you are really a good support, you should be able to go up, though some games aren't carryable. Support is the hardest role to carry with :s
