I remember I had this one job years ago and a co-worker said that I reminded them of Kali Uchis. I hadn't heard of her before that, but when I looked her up, it was instant fascination.

Years later, I completely forgot about her... which is a damn crime.

I'm getting to know this guy, and he mentioned her a few days ago, so I was looking for the songs that I first heard from her. Lottery was the first, I believe.

Long story short, her saying she's a cancer(like me) and me being told I remind them of Kali... idk, it was a mind-blowing moment watching this.

She's something special, man.
