I'm blown away that it's been 20 years since this film came out. It was a bit of a shock that hit me when the original actors were interviewed to see them as they are today because they're all frozen in time when it comes to my memory. I loved this movie-it reminds us of our humanity, our frailty, our strengths and our weaknesses. Love changes everything, it could even change the world if we would embrace it. I know love changes each person who experiences it. I wish we could all put our differences aside and appreciate each other for exactly who and what we are-human.

I've never seen this film and judging by the comments here, I'm glad I didn't. Furthermore, I managed to catch a little of this anniversary show tonight and found yet another person (the director of film) apologizing for the lack of 'diversity' in the film. I hate to see a grown cry like a woman!

After just rewatching this film, I'm embarrassed that I liked this movie when it first came out. It is the worst unfunniest sexist piece of crap, and I find it amazing that people still love it. The wealth of talent that is wasted on a poorly written badly directed movie, that is so cloyingly sentimental and predictable is unbelievable.
