Determining Planetary Sect via Diurnal Motion

The purpose of this video is to demonstrate how to determine the 'sect' of an astrological chart simply by seeing which side of the horizon the Sun is on.

If the Sun is anywhere above the horizon, as demarcated by the ascendant/descendant axis, then the chart is diurnal, while if the Sun is anywhere below the horizon, then the chart is nocturnal. This video just shows a sped up version of the Sun's diurnal motion, where it rises, culminates, sets and anti-culminates each day.

Hi, Chris, I'm becoming more and more interested in Hellenistic Astrology. I have been studying Modern Astrology for about 6 years and Vedic for 4. I know that just like Vedic, traditional Hellenistic Astrology uses whole sign houses. In Modern Astrology, though, Placidus is the most used house system. My doubt is: are those concepts involving sect applicable to that house system?

Where can I find this software? is it expensive? What is the difference between a daytime and nighttime chart in terms of personality?
