Thank you so much for painstakingly showing exactly where your needle is going in the stitch. I was actually thinking “I KNOW my stitch count will be off” and then you showed what to do if that happens. Doing my happy dance

This was perfectly thorough, I couldn’t find a similar tutorial using the long tail cast on. Thank you! 🙌🏻

Exactly the type of tutorial I needed…The slow explanation and up close camera shots are soooo appreciated. Many thanks for taking the extra time taken on the the details!

This was great, Natalie! Thanks so much for such a well explained and demonstrated tutorial. I was confused with the written directions for my Oslo hat. It was so easy after watching you. Thanks😊

Thanks so much for an easy to follow tutorial!! I really appreciate you taking the time to zoom in and focus the camera so I could see what you were doing. It was a huge bonus to see you illustrate this technique in both continental and english knitting styles. The icing on the cake for me was your trick at the end for weaving in the tails. So So Good!

Thank you so much. I’m starting a hat with a double brim and in my mind I was believing I could it the way you showed I just wasn’t sure didn’t know if I wanted to put all that work in it and I not work but thanks to you I will continue as my mind was thinking. Thanks so much. You answered one of your questions that you didn’t miss teaching but look here you are teaching. I think it matters what you are teaching because you are pretty good at it. My daughter is a ieacher.. blessings

Thank you! This is such a neat way to join for a folded brim. Very concise and love the stitch by stitch directions with the close-ups of what to look for.

Thank you!!! I really don’t like the provisional cast on at all, so this is amazing! 🧶😄

Bless you, I cast on for the Oslo hat with a German twisted cast on and was scared it wouldn’t work as well as provisional! This looks great and was so clear and helpful, I love the tip for hiding the tail too.

Yay! I did this on another pattern and when I explained it to another knitter she looked and me like I was going crazy. 🤷‍♀️ i don’t know how to do a provisional and didn’t want to learn when I was knitting up the gloves so I did it this way - knitting is amazing bc there’s so many ways to accomplish the same thing.

You're an awesome teacher. I love double-hemmed hats so I'm going to try this method. I've subscribed.
