Good to hear from an actual grown-up about this stuff

I am a combat vet and we do not have time to learn on the job because there are protocols on how to conduct business especially OPSEC. There is no excuse for what happened, using unsecured comms, if I did that during desert storm, I would be court martial and probably in Leavenworth! Basically fired!

Dennis Blair had the best, honest, and true answers I have heard this year. You can tell he took his positions seriously, and I am sure anyone that worked for him would probably tell you the same. Either a great actor or a True Leader. Hopefully someone that worked for him could say something?

Thank godness Jeff Goldberg, the journalist, was included otherwise we would not know about this sharing of classified information on Signal. This is the tip of the iceberg!

Hegseth cannot expect every soldier beneath him to follow basic OPSEC when he demonstrably cannot follow it himself. He should have resigned IMMEDIATELY! Anyone remember the sailor who shared info on a Discord? He's STILL in prison!

Do not let this security breach get out of the headlines!

All of the eighteen participants knew what was going on, and any one of them should have said: stop.

So tired of people calling this a "mistake" or a "learning experience"
Especially from the "Hunter's laptop" and "But her email!!!" crowd.
They claim to be geniuses and are in charge of your country.
Time for actions to have consequences.
Either for them, or for the rest of the world.
Chose wisely.

The President’s Chief of Staff was in the group chat. And he still can’t understand what is going on.

A phone is a memory storage device with a radio. If you accidentally put classified data on a hard disk, USB drive, computer. Those memory storage devices will never see a non classified space again.

Well said, AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE TO LEARN.

Pete Hegseth just wanted to flex. He didn't need to send those messages. He could have told them hours later and it wouldn't have impacted anything. They were talking in the group chat like a group of friends discussing plans. That's not how things are done. Like Dennis said, if communication happens, it needs to be secure.

“The commanding officer always eats last.” That tradition ended with Donald Trump Jr.and Ernest Borgnine. 😂😂😂

Don't give Walz credit for saying it was on him because I saw that interview and he continues on blaming the app or magical phones. Then he proceeded to attack the journalist.
