What you haven't mentioned here is that if VAR had been in place at this game, the goal would still not have been given because a Ukrainian player was offside during the build up. This was a curious case of two bad calls in the space of a few seconds resulted in the correct decision of no goal.

Yes excluding that bad decision beforehand it should have been a goal, but saying that 'It was a valid goal because the bad decision had already been made' is a stupid argument.
If the goal had been given, then all the English people would be complaining about a clearly offside goal that shouldn't have been given, so it wouldn't fix things.
