If anyone can guarantee that MN won't be one of the states that has to pay state taxes which is about $950 for $10, 000 or $20, 000 loan forgiveness then they would possibly win by popular vote. Saving about $950 or more would probably be a more financial relief for every MN borrower which is why this is far more important than any other promises they can keep.
