Pianist, author, and deep sea diver (figuratively) Jeremy Siskind plays the Dietz/Schultz tune "Alone Together" in 7/4 for 10 minutes straight, in part honoring the great Brad Mehldau. Enjoy!

C'mon Jeremy, we need a follow up video showing how you squeeze 5/4 into 4/4.

Amazing! What a great display of creativity and skill!
Question: how do you master improvisation over odd meters, besides doing it many times with a metronome... any suggestions? Or is my question an oximoron? Thanks in advance.

Structured freedom and harmonious tension lead to what seems to be effortless complexity.
