In this video I review my top 5 crypto cold storage wallets. I compare price, number of cryptocurrency tokens supported, security features, and pros and cons of each. The PR nightmare created by Ledger's announcement of their "Ledger Recover" program had me itching to explore a new cold storage wallet solution from my Nano X. So I thought why not share my research with you all! I hope this info is helpful in making a decision on which wallet is best for your situation.

Yeah, I am super disappointed with Leadger and ordered two Trezor model ones earlier this week. I am definitely interested in seeing you showcase the two wallets you got.

also there is the safepal pro which is double the cost of the regular safepal but still cheapo. the main differences are, bigger better battery and a tough aluminum bodyt, tempered glass screen.

One massive Con that was missing for the Ellipal Titan is that it’s not Open Source. Big red flag and security risk... big enough on this fact alone that I cannot, will not buy it and risk having everything compromised later on. Will never buy a closed source hardware wallet

Ledger can still be used as semi hotwallet to interact with random web3 dex. Plan to buy one as secondary wallet but not as main storage.

I just started investing in bitcoin & eth. I think I'll get the Trezor Model One....I like the price point! 👍

well I would like to dispute your assesment of Safepal, its very easy to use, very easy to update and its cheap and lots of coins, and security is 5 out of 5 due to being air gapped. Prone to damage well depends, its flimsy but its still tough . I dont put my wallets thru rough times always stored in well protected clean locations. as for web3 intergration, I would like to dispute that one, Ive used my safepal to access uniswap, 1inch etc. you can access dapps and do swaps with no problems. Yep just the staking which is lacking.

Thank you. 😙 Please create a video about the two wallets you are purchasing for yourself.

Warning regarding the Tangom Wallet. I received over the weekend the 3 card Tangom, shipped in from Singapore. The box the products came in had been tampered with. Meaning the seal on the product box had been cut but in a way that would not have been easily noticeable. The product inside also had no plastic wrapping like most new electronic products have. Not sure if the cards had been tampered with or not but not taking that chance.

The return policy is to ship to China. Not sure but guessing that will cost more then I paid for the product.

Was passiert bei einer EMP? Was wenn es nass wird oder Feuchtigkeit zieht ? Kann ein Dieb das Passwort dechiffrieren, wenn es nicht stark genug ist?

How about the onekey? It is open source hardware and software.
Also the biggest advantage of ledger is the staking inside the wallet directly. Non of the other alternatives have this function. Any solution for the staking issue?

I just loved how much support Ledger and Ledger Live had for many types of tokens.

Good vid. I was surprised that the Trezor Model T is not compatible with an iPhone.

D'CENT!! I've read enough and listened to enough. Maybe I'm being too "judgemental" or "paranoid" but too many red flags come up for the wallets on this list. I mean, didn't even Trezor just have a major security issue just come to light a week or two ago??

Anyway, aside from some minor complaints (which happen regardless) D'cent just feels legit. (I hope I don't have to eat my words later.)

I somehow missed Tangem. I trust Tangem more than the other cold wallets. The only thing is better not lose the card, or buy a 2 pack and make one a backup for the other one (then store the backup in a Faraday bag in a safe place).

The Con you gave to Tangem regarding 'risk of losing your cards' isn't fair as with all wallets, if you lose your keys (cards) you lose access.
