Matt Johnson must be one of the most prophetic figures of our age, was fortunate enough to see him live several times, the best show being Glasgow barrowlands in 93 when he had johnny marr with him and david eller i believe from julian copes band, i, ve been at 100s of gigs in my life, my favourite live band were Rush, but this gig was and is my all time best, the place was bouncing, amazing atmosphere and one of my buddies was working the door that night so we got in a bit earlier . Thank you to the one and only Matt johnson, take a bow, a genius in my mind . An amazing body of work

me and my good friend Glen, bought this in Virgin's flagship store on the quays in Dublin City back in the day, after weeks of badgering the staff daily for its release date we finally got our new fix (ironically we both went to work there and were less than attentive to punters who were equally zealot like), anyway, after the first listen (seperately), we were both convinced it wasnt up to the standards of Mind Bomb or Infected, but day after day, listen after listen, picking up on a guitar lick and/or clever lyric we soon realised it was a grower, a slow burner, a masterpiece, and, like all great art cannot and should not be judged against the auteur's other work or the work of others.... in Matt we trust. thank you Sir.
