Beyond Borders I Dennis Theodosis

There's a path leading the way of the clarinet; it often goes past the cliffs of Beirut, other times across the Andalusian desert and some other times encircles the small chapels in Greece. There can even be the odd encounter with the shade of the trees in the underworld.

"Life after life" comprises 12 unique instrumental compositions by Dennis Theodosis. With its starting point in the forms and motifs of the folk musical traditions of Greece, the Balkans and the Mediterranean, the album is conversing with contemporary musical genres, equally investing on improvisation as well as an obsession with strophic themes.
