Big problem with Greninja: Meowscarada has exactly one point of speed more than it and also has u turn as well as knock off so it's just a better choice user

Protean nerf isn't that much of a hinderance. The Battle Bond change will make him a devastating revenge kill sweeper

Im just so mad about the battle bond nerf, i swear the only reason greninja got nerfed is becauze he was more popular than. Charizard

Protean, I get why they nerfed the ability. But why Battle Bond as well? Ash Greninja would have looked absolutely amazing in the Generation 9 graphic. 😑

Honestly, given that now Battle Bond is just Ultra Instinct Moxie, I feel like it could be an even better option for a late game sweeper. Obviously it sucks for early/mid game when you have to switch out all the time, but if you're going boom or bust the repeat boosts might be more helpful

Honestly life orb Greninja is still amazing lol. Dark + Water stab is a fantastic stab combo in the current meta and spikes greninja is still really useful imo

I think it’s going to be great for even with one change per switch in that’s still a great ability and it’s not even greninjas only option either battle bond and sometimes torrent with a focus sash variant under rain water shuriken priority

Greninja was crazy fast to begin with, but thanks to all these Paradox Pokemon, I'd say Choice Scarf may be the way to go competitively speaking

I always preferred Scarf Greninja... it's one of the best speed control mons in previous gens.

Scarf Kartana, +1 Volc and scarf Lando are just a few of the mons he dealt with...he was like an offensive Pex(1 mon that checks so many others, giving you more options to team built)

Its good, specs is very strong and the high speed + vast movepool give it a lot of flexibility as a fast pivot/swepper.
