Is Apple TV+ worth it? The subscription streaming service is Apple’s first foray into original video content, and was announced with no little fanfare in March 2019 - complete with celebrity appearances by Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg and Jason Momoa. I just got a 1 yr free trial. I already feel like canceling for fear that I will be charged for this crap early. Seems like all it is good for is directing me to more subscription services. This streaming crap is getting out of hand.

Maybe it'll get better overtime, but even if that happens, I doubt it'll be able to genuinely compete with the likes of Netflix and Disney+.

Apple's problem may be it's infatuation with big name stars assuming big names, big money will produce big hits. Shows like NetFlix's Stranger Things have proven you don't need big stars to make a big hit, just give us a well written good story.

I remember hearing the announcement of Apple TV plus. I thought it was cool, but then I forgot all about it. I didn’t even remember it was gonna come out and I found out yesterday that it was released on November 1st. Oh well I guess the top competitors are Netflix, Hulu, and Disney +.
