I have over 8 helmets, and the Bell Bullitt is my favorite. I ride (mostly) with a pair of noise canceling Airpods and have ear plugs as well, so if there is noise, I never hear it.

I prefer the larger viewing area of the Bell Bullit, as I don’t feel as claustrophobic.

I personally don’t mind wearing for touring (maybe, because I have the carbon fibre version).

Either way, if I had to have one full-face helmet, this classic takes the cake!

The red and black with gold looks great. Perfect for an old-school Suzuki which came in the same colors!

Had mine since 2017 for 10 mile return commutes through towns. Took the visor off as it was whistling quite badly when opened. Used it as an open face ever since. Replaced it with full RSD carbon bell open face how chin feels a little exposed for the speedier runs. Easier visor release will prob help flexibility as can keep it in the box or backpack if caught up in the rain or overstayed in office till after dark.

The ByCity Roadster 2 is a fantastic alternative at a more affordable price. I love mine.

As an owner of a Bell Bullit for over 5 years now I am very dissapoited with this new model.

Back then 5-6years ago there werent many options for classic good looking helmets besides the Bell Bullit, Shoei Ex Zero and Blitwell Gringo.

Even though its very over priced with a lack of features I really loved mine but there are huge improvements that needs to be made for it compared to what other brands offer.

1. The lack of seal of seal between the visor and helmet.
The "solution" to put a rubber trim instead of the beautiful chrome ones is a cheap and uncreative approach which doesn't even solve the issue mostly likely, and still leaks on the rider during rain.

2. The visor shaking on highway speeds.

3. I'm glad to see the lockable front air vents to was needed.

4. They went half wait and removed the chin vent instead of keeping it and adding a cover for the bottom of the chin to prevent wind from entering below the helmet

5. Good improvements with the visor change mechanism. Unscrewing those bots with a coin every time is a huge hassle.

6. No fogging solution (well with all the air coming in its not much of a problem but you're freezing)

Although I love mine and it's a piece of art every time with it I won't buy it again for such a price and lack of features with other manufacturers offering excellent designs, affordability, safety and comfort.

My first really good helmet was a Bell Star 90. My second was a Bell Star 120. This was in the early 70s.The Bell Bullitt is supposed to be based on the original Bell Star series from back in the early 70s. The Bell Bullitt carbon gt has the retro look of the original Bell Star series with all the technology of today's top tier helmets.
The suede liner with leather around the edges fits me like a glove . I do have a round head so I'm sure that is significant on the fit. I have the Bell Bullitt carbon gt and it is the best fitting helmet I own. Much better fit than my shoei 1400 which is a great helmet. The Bell just fits me better. Also, the Bell Bullitt carbon gt comes with a really nice carry bag, a clear shield and a dark smoke shield. I'm super happy with my Bell helmet.

Sure it will sell. Just on looks I think it looks the best out of the competition.
I’ve not tried it on or ridden in one though!

They need to make them quieter. I had one for the look. A few months later, I sold it as it was loud. I have a shoei glamster now and love it, as it performs in all areas.

I have the carbon model. It's wind noise is high, but it fits my head perfectly. I wouldn't take it to the track and made in China worries me. The fit and weight are why I wear it.

I want Bell to release and updated version of their Race Star DLX Flex. It, like most of Bell's lineup, is in need of modernization/updating.

The improvements seem meaningful over the previous gen just not far enough IMHO, I had to put a thin black gasket on mine as the visor would rattle something terribly at speeds above 50mph. the closable vents on the head are a welcome addition as is the new mechanism for changing the visors, in the beginning I was always over tightening the screw and the visor was then hard to operate, now I'm always a little worried it will come loose. Although I see the reason for removing the chin vent, I think that should have remained and they should have added a wind guard to the bottom, that would have helped with the sound in the helmet too. Still the best looking helmet, and looks incredible with the chrome visor.

The improvements are very much welcomed. I really wanted something to replace my AGV X3000 and this seems to fit the bill.

The Bell Bullet is one of the most uncomfortable helmets I've ever tried. I'm told they fit people with rounder heads, whereas I'm an oval. Very much love my ByCity Roadster II and will be wearing it from the UK to the Alps this summer. Visibility is great, and noise isn't an issue as I wear earplugs anyway.

The other helmets which you mention suks in terms of style, which is a main purpose of the bullet. The closest competitor is Hedon. The opening is giant, it feels like you don't wear a helmet at all, the downside is a buffeting from 80mph, no pinlock!

Why can’t I find a tinted visor for the Bullitt gt?

Shoei or Arai for me. It's the fit.

I have the outgoing Bullit, in carbon, and i enjoy a lot the looks/design, quality of some features, the lightweight, some details and the heritage. But apart these aspects, the Bullit is very noisy, colder in winter and not that comfortable. The aerodynamics are bad when riding at high speed. It's a great helmet to have as a second helmet, for stylish purposes and for short rides. This new one looks like an evolution, but not a revolution. I've tried the Shoei Glamster and found it better.

I see there is sligh improvement like bririant mechanism for that visor and capable of close that ventilation. And Color collletion attract me very much.
However for me regret to say that it does not worth a money to pour it. Hense I need to import Bulitt from UK and cost for shipping like 90 Pounds. I will go for Arai and Shoei here I could buy it 340 Pounds😅

USA Rder here. I ride a 2017 Triumph Bonneville 900 cc LC Street Cup. Black - Silver Ice with Gold Pin stripes. Of course I removed 31 parts and replaced them with Billet parts, brass parts and metal instead of plastic turn signals, fenders, etc. . . . . I chose brass to match my gold stripes. I would be looking to buy the new Bullitt GT Black with the Gold trim around the edge of the helmet.

The price is a bit high so for me personally i would consider the black and grey carbon GT just to match the most beautiful colorway of the royal enfield bear 650 but 700 for my country is a big number
