One sort of metaphysics magic system Idea I had that I really like the idea of but am struggling with the more specific questions of is magic of the kingdoms.
Essentially one of the main forms of power in this world is the power granted to you from the kingdom you're a part of. Sometimes every one in the kingdom gets the power like super strength, sometimes only the nobles get the power like controlling plants. OK fair enough baseline ... but what if someone immigrates? How is nobility defined within the kingdom's? What if some one is born from people from two separate kingdoms. What if someone from one kingdom dies and is resurrected in another kingdom? Is this you're attempt to make a "fantasy race" power system in a world with only humans? Can they still be considered human if the powers granted give the kingdom animal attributes? What if it's a democracy not a kingdom?

what category would "cultivation" fall under?
cultivation being the refining of one's spirit or body to attain power and/or longevity while defying natural laws and/or angering a heavenly/worldly will in the process
this is just the baseline concept of cultivation with an expansive list of extra concepts
understanding and manipulation of concepts: water, air, fire, gravity, chaos, etc
supernatural understanding of weapon types: sword, shield, bow, etc
physical or spiritual traits that provide a head-start: poison affinity, fire affinity, light affinity, etc
and there is still way more

I definitely think the misinterpretation of the force ruins some of the story by making what "balance" is not clear like you said the dark side is unnatural and a corruption of the force like a cancer or disease that needs to be eliminated and that is what "balance" is

By this method, Honkai Star Rail's magic system (Paths) is categorized as Ethics&Metaphysics. I'd never considered it that way.

Jedis may have been servant of the force in the past, but they are not in the time of the movies.
The only true "servant of the force" in the hard cannon of the franchise is Bendu, who rejected the petty power struggles from both sith and jedi as the same: tragic, hurtful but in the end inane imbalance.

It may not be the original intend, but I actually do prefer the force as Yin and Yang, as it more closely resembles my view on magick and spirituality in the real world.
