😂 as an older American I remember bagging groceries in paper bags and recycling them to cover our school books, in the 1970s it was decided to switch to plastic bags because too many trees were being cut down ... I truly doubt it will ever make sense..they will always switch again 😂😂

That’s because it was an idea that originally was to save the environment 🤔 that ended up getting pushed by stores, because they realized they could sell you 1/4 ¢ bag for 10 ¢. But it ended up creating thousands times more pollution than just giving you a plastic bag. But they made a ton of $. 😮

It’s called extra revenue, big corporations will find ways to nickel and dime the consumer. That’s just the way it’s been since the 90s, grocery stores used to pack your food and carried out to your trunk of your car for free they never used to charge us for paper bags just like in the days where they pumped your gas for you and clean your windshield and your headlights and check your oil. I think they should bring back those days. I would go to the gas station to get that service. Hell yeah I would.
