Mark your calendars: Double the musical impact on April 2!

Community outreach at the Shepherd School is about more than just performing—it’s about making classical music accessible to all. Through The Concert Truck, our students have brought music to communities across Houston, from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to the Segundo Barrio Children’s Chorus.

It also provides Shepherd School students with a unique, high-impact opportunity to give back to the community, sharing their elite artistry with hundreds of people while enhancing their own learning through service-based performance.

On April 2, you have the chance to help us continue this tradition! If we raise $25,000 during Rice’s 24-Hour Challenge, it will unlock an additional $25,000 from generous donors Dotti & Rick Nelson and SSM alumna You Zhao (‘04).
