This new pole saw from Milwaukee Tool is the most powerful pole saw on the market. Who doesn't want one of these? I was able to play with this at Milwaukee Tools Pipeline 2023 event where I saw a ton of new tools coming out. Are there any tools you might want me to share that I saw?

About the same as my DeWalt. I do like the ability to extend it without having to add another section.

So many haters on here talking about cutting soft wood and everything else. Spend 5 minutes searching on here and you'll see plenty of people using it on things like black walnut and oak and it rips through those, too. This is the Milwaukee 3013-20 M18 Fuel Telescoping Pole Saw. It is rated at 2.35hp and basically whoops everything else available spinning that chain at 25m/s, even the Stihl 2 strokes. People are getting 45m to 1h or run time depending on conditions and which battery they use.

I have the Stihl HTA 135 and its very good but this Milwaukee is cool.

I just used one to cut almost a cord of hackberry because it's the only saw I had access too. Had to swap out batteries a couple times but it's performance far exceeded expectations. It was all green wood to from recent storm damage.

Nice telescoping design, although like all that depend on a compression clamp the clamp wedge fails at a point.
Been using my Ryobi {first gas powered & now Battery} expand it for ~30 yrs, no issues. And, I can use other attachments with one power head.

I was looking into the convertable weed trimmer but the dedicated pole saw is so much better made and the cutting speed !

How long is operating time, and would like to see a video of it in actual operation on a job when things like the chain gets a bit dull from cutting.

In the 90s, early 2000s I was a Dewalt fan. In 2010 to present I'm a makita owner. I have a 3/8 m12 ratchet that I REALLY like and have noticed that milwaukee is top-notch these days. I think I'm going to increase my milwaukee tools after this video.
