I had no idea she was this young when I started watching. The thing about chess is as long as your brain works, you can keep playing. She is a 2000 rated player- I mean come on. Most people living can't say that. Good job, Anna! You will learn from your mistakes and keep improving. It's what the great ones do. :)

Thank you for the entertainment. I never thought that chess could be this exciting. Thanks to Pia, the way she describes the games, makes it more exciting to watch than a hockey game. From a Québécois who is very new to watching chess online.

Even though I played a lot of chess years ago, I never thought I would spend hours watching a chess tournament, and then I found Anna Cramling's channel by chance in my YT recommendations. I've now watched a lot of Anna's games and some of the other popular streamers. Anna is by far my favorite, and Pia's commentary is just incredible.

Anna makes everyone feel like they belong in this world of chess, and in the world in general. A bright ray of sunshine she is. But better said, I appreciate her authenticity and candor, no matter the emotion.

Anna, so young to be so good. You will win many tournaments down the road. You have this very best mentor. Pia is a very special commentator. I love the channel.

You can tell how checked out Anna is with her body language from the beginning of the game. I know that feeling when you have high hopes. If you’re reading this, Anna, you played beautifully! Don’t be too hard on yourself. We are all so proud of you!

She wanted to Win the tournamemt, so the goal was high but 5 wins and a draw in 9 games its actually great, It doesnt matter rating points, yours nor your opponents
Thanks to lovely Anna and Pia for this and for the channels content. I actually learn a lot with Annas, Levys and Krikors Channel, you know... Watching Nakamuras channel is like trying to learn another language in braile... lol

Fortune does favor the bold. You stepped into the arena. You are the bold. Period!

My favorite variation of that quote is the British Special Air Service (SAS) motto -- Who Dares Wins.

I don't think she helped herself mentally by talking about winning the tournament when there were still 3 matches left. Even if such a thought comes into your mind, you need to squash it fast and just concentrate on the next game. If you do win, you have the rest of your life to enjoy it and talk about it. She is not the first to fall for this and not the last. I will bet that if she has another great start to a tournament, she will not even mention 'winning it'.
