Hiding behind that arrest warrant issued by US is not acceptable, Canada should have done its due diligence themsevlves, and see if there was any validity by that request, if is true? This is the way in every legel system, the other matter, the period Mrs Meng was in custody, was just looked like they went to manufacure some evidence, the bail amount is not depends on person's wealth, it has a limit that is set up by allegation. Based on legal procedures all the decisions about Mrs. Meng was wrong.

Why Huawei is not safe. Article 7 of China’s National Intelligence Law (国家情报法) declares:

Any organisation and citizen shall, in accordance with the law, support, provide assistance, and cooperate in national intelligence work, and guard the secrecy of any national intelligence work that they are aware of [emphasis added]. The state shall protect individuals and organisations that support, cooperate with, and collaborate in national intelligence work.

Its sad for Canada! no choice but complied with the powerful neighbor! At the end of the day, the Chinese CFO will be released, the US and China both claim victory and trade as usual. But Canada will suffer the consequence for decade to come, has to beg the US for help!

It’s time to catch the 3rd Canadog, for what reason? Let me think about it. How about violating the homosexual law of Saudi Arabia? Or the drugs law in North Korea? You know we Chinese are learning to a rule of law country. Canada gave us a great demonstration.
