Cool Gelatin Prints With Basic Shape Stencils

I've enjoyed watching all your videos on gelli printing. It seems like art that almost anyone can do with a basic understanding of color theory and knowing when to stop. I have never seen those special little brushes before.

I gotta get my gelli plate out again and use the papers to make envelopes for my cards - great idea!!  I have a friend whose mom died a year ago and she gave me a bunch of her crafty stuff and I found some plastic canvas that I'll be using!!

Whenever I get distracted and end up having residual paint dry a bit on the plate, I will brayer out a thin layer of Sax True Flow Multi-media varnish or acrylic gel or mat medium over the plate and rub the paper for a full two minutes or so before pulling the print. It will completely clean off the plate and the print looks VERY cool. Also, there will be a bit of shine to the print. Give it a try!

some of the other ideas are to let the paint dry completely on the plate (there's a video on the gelli arts for this) then put clear packing tape on the plate, pull it off.  It cleans the plate and you have decorative tape in the bargain.  Also ukmaryanne has some things on there about u sing matte medium on the plate (can't remember exactly) then she uses the plate like a stamp pad

Hey lindsey, how are ya? I'm great. I've some questions for ya. I've just bought a xyron creative work station 9" sticker, lamenating, & magnet maker & I was wondering if can put thin foam sheets through it to make the foam sheets in to stickersO? Can you also put fabric through it as well? What other things can you put through it? Thanks again for all you do. And as always, HAPPY CRAFTING!

I've been trying really hard to resist the gelli plate, and you're not making it any easier!  My main problem is I don't have anywhere to let the paper dry -- I don't even have a lot of floor space.
