CIG Lied to YOU - We are TESTERS for Star Citizen

Quick comments and my opinion on how backers who play star citizen are sold a game to PLAY yet can not because it is unfinished, while marketing makes NO MENTION that we will be TESTING for their product development.

Read the disclaimer that pops up at every launch. I hardly feel betrayed. Sure the commercials here on youtube are bad, but commercials of games never should lead to a buying decision, they more often than not are misleading. You should never trust any commercial, because the intended purpose of them is to make you buy a product against your better reasoning and logic. Waking desire for a thing you may not even heard of before watching it.

Let see - mining, looting, salvage, basic cargo, basic bounty hunting, investigation and fetch missions. PVP events as well as in game PVP all of which generally works, so 100% Alpha playable. And perhaps you are missing the sandbox game, that is what is SC is. The narrated single player game is Sq42.

This was known from day 1. Anyone who didn't know this must have glossed right over the "alpha" piece. CIG didn't fool their backers. Some of the backers fooled themselves.

Once Squadron 42 - EP 1 is released (next year?), that will free up hundreds if not thousands of Devs. In the meantime... I play old, remastered versions of games such as Star Craft and Age of Mythology. * shrug * I stopped Alpha-Testing *years ago*

The MMO side of the platform was always intended as a live testing environment. You had to acknowledge and accept that no less than 3 times to get into the game at least once and every time you login courtesy of the government who got tired of reinvestigating CIG over false claims of fraud like this. Your ship money probably paid lawyers over some of that instead paying devs.

As soon as you mentioned you watch salty Mike I knew this vid was going to be whining. The game in in alpha test we are alpha testers get used to it and stop whining or go play other outstanding space games like starfield or elite dangerous. Lol.
