Immoral. Of course, it's immoral, plus ineffective.

Judge for yourself
Haspel ran a "black site" CIA prison located in Thailand in 2002. The site was codenamed "Cat's Eye" and held suspected al Qaeda terrorist members Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri and Abu Zubaydah for a time. The Senate Intelligence Committee report on CIA torture specifies that during their detention at the site they were waterboarded and interrogated using no-longer-authorised methods.Declassified CIA cables specify that Zubaydah was waterboarded 83 times in a month, was sleep deprived, kept in a "large box", had his head slammed against a wall, and he lost his left eye. Zubaydah was deemed, by the CIA interrogators, to not be in possession of any useful intelligence .Haspel was “directly involved in its controversial interrogation program” and had an “extensive role” in torturing detainees. The Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on torture detailed the central role she played in the particularly gruesome torture of detainee Abu Zubaydah

I find grandstanding immoral. If a nuclear weapon has been placed in a major US city and will go off within 24 hours and one of the terrorists has been captured. Will you give him milk and cookies and say please, please, please tell us where it is? Or will you do what ever is necessary to save millions of lives? Individuals who grandstand take no responsibility for lack of action.

Torture work's so far then until the worlds missing persons is perhaps quite infamously slightly tollerated .Actually secrecy about the Turkish affair doesn't help Americans to understand the importance and national security of goods arms and prodice already squared. Any arms embargo's by the reported companies would be legitimate. The ungodly have believe they are doing world some good. Covertly or not, hunt the corpse is not necessary to make reasonable suspicion sound judgement.

Gina Haspel should answer that she was protecting Americans' right to have rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Who told you that? In the military every year we are trained that torture will be effective if used against us. We know this because our troops were tortured in every war and most broke while others were killed. Torture is extremely effective. the people that say it is not are these guys that sat behind desk and never met anyone who was tortured. I even was trained by two different people that experienced torture first hand. They teach us to try to hold back times and dates or get them wrong if possible but rather than die we should talk. But never cooperate or volunteer information like senator mccain did. Do you know what really is immoral? Releasing the Gitmo detainees. in a military report actions directly by detainees that returned to combat killed at least 12 US soldiers and an unknown amount of soldiers from other nations in the UN task force in the persian region. But the media won't tell you that or that most of those guys were captured while attacking US soldiers. A few were tracked down after.

Immoral? No. It's not immoral. It's well-deserved.
