Fabulous voice, lyrics, and music...these qualities don't seem to exist anymore, and if they do you won't hear it on the radio!

One of a kind. This man had a talent as big as Mount Everest. We will never have another Mel Torme.

Such a velvety voice. I've never been able to make up my mind between Mr.Tormè's and Johnny Mathi's version.

I knew he was drummer as well as a singer, but I never knew he played piano.
What an amazing voice he had, what a great singer.

Hermosa canción y muy bien interpretada.
A los amantes de esta canción les recomiendo la versión de Milt Buckner .
Saludos cordiales desde Buenos Aires, Argentina.🇦🇷

Wow, I thought Buble was based his style off Sinatra... but this has to be his main inspiration. My first time hearing him.

Mathis is the goat to me, but this guy has a whole different kind of voice. He doesnt use a lot of vibrato, its the phrasing and velvet airiness.

Mel was one of a kind. Check out his 1964 duet with Bing, it's here on Youtube. It's great!

Wow. MELVIN TORMA (Polish- Jewish), "The Velvet Fog"! Perfect phrasing, stylish chords, and that be-bop scatman playing! Torme'(a) co-wrote the family favorite " The Christmas Song", with Nathaniel (King) Coles specifically in mind to sing it. RIP 🕊
