Cady (Lindsay Lohan) discovers the existence of the Plastics, the most popular and exclusive group of the school composed of Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Karen (Amanda Seyfried) and Gretchen.

What’s the movie Mean Girls about?
Raised in the African bush country by her zoologist parents, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) thinks she knows about "survival of the fittest." But the law of the jungle takes on a whole new meaning when the home-schooled 15-year-old enters public high school for the first time and falls prey to the psychological warfare and unwritten social rules that teenage girls face today.
Invited to hang out with the most exclusive clique of the school “The Plastics”, she will fall in love with the leader’s Regina George (Rachel McAdams) ex boyfriend Aaron Samuels. Engaging in a tricky double dealing, Cady will progressively become like the rest of the group and lose herself in the process.

Rachel was a natural. She's an accurate representation of an actual mean girl. Just calm and collected, but really manipulative and judgemental. It's the little details that give you a hint that she's mean, but it isnt obvious on the outside fr.

I love that they introduced the mean girl clique in the least glamorous way- in gym class in gym clothes. It’s easy to get cliche with mean girl clique but Mean Girls really shifted things.
