Love Letter is one of my favourite games and Lovecraft Letter is a very fun way to play it. When I was reached out to cover an Arkham Horror version of Lovecraft Letter, I couldn't say no! In this video, I unbox and explain how Love Letter works and why you may love it as much as I do!

This new version of Lovecraft Letter, has slightly bigger cards.

Be aware that sleeves 73x122mm "Gamegenic (orange size) recommended, to this game, is really hard/impossible, to find in many countries.

Check if sleeves with size 73x122mm is possible to find in your country, before buying this game.

Cards edges easy gets small dents when shuffled, without sleeves...

That on a game where players often would guess, what card another player has in hand.

The game do not comes with sleeves, like the old version.

I have been hearing how popular Love Letter has been over the years. So popular, you can find all kinds of spin off themes on it selling all over the world. I just heard of the origonal
Arkham version of it last week. I have never played any version even the origonal, but this sounds neat.

Love Letter’s simply elegant design makes it classic. This is my top candidate for game-everyone-should-own. Just pick a theme that interests you and enjoy. This AH version looks pretty cool to me.

Munchkin: Loot Letter is by far my favorite version. Plays exactly like the original 16-card Love Letter, but the theme is funnier and the cards are WAY easier to read.

hmmm, i prefer the original Lovecraft letter. The images for the cards are way more thematic than just this AH investigators. Not appealing to me. ALso the tokens are lookting too similar on both sides.
But overall: my favourite game i can play all night (done many times)

I own the original Lovecraft Letter and always wondered if I could eliminate the Mythos cards to make it regular Love Letter, as I have never played it. Thank you for confirming that.

I like the old picture a bit more. Maybe this will change.

My question is: How is the card quality? Are they as big as the old ones (tarot size)? Are they as thick as the old ones?

Inferior to the original Lovecraft Letter. Who the hell wants all these cards to be themed after their boring-ass characters that no one actually gives a fuck about? 😂 Also moving away from the poker chips was a horrible idea.
