New Orleans Weather: Great Weather for the big parades
Показать описание
Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says New Orleans' Weather should be pretty good for all parades through Mardi Gras!
The colder air isn't too far away. In fact, this afternoon Baton Rouge was sitting at 85° while Alexandria was only 51° and Shreveport was 40°!! The front won't get the push southward until early Friday as an upper trough moves eastward out of the Rockies. With the trough staying well to our north, we are only expecting only a moderate drop in temperatures...mornings in the 40s and afternoons in the 60s. But, it will be enough to cool us down and also bring down less humid air. We'll see a few showers with the front, but only expecting 30-40% in the morning Friday. Lingering clouds, but pleasant Saturday. We'll see another upper trough bring down a cold front Sunday. Few showers expected with the front, with light on-and-off showers into the midday before ending by the afternoon. High pressure builds in for gorgeous weather for both Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras!!
