2022 BRZ/GR86 Noble Hood Strut Install

In today's video we show you how to install the new Noble Hood Struts on your 2022+ GR86 or BRZ. Unfortunately the cars didn't come with these from factory, so we had to step in.

So despite being super careful, I dropped the wrench down the fender. Opened up the access panel underneath to get it back out (thank you for providing that advice!). Then I thought I was being clever by stuffing the abyss with rags. Only to find after I was done that one rag was missing🤣. Great hood struts, easy install (besides my mistakes).

I wish they would have done a 2 position strut like the grimspeed ones. On my Forester XT I can pop it to normal height and to vertical (great for doing any work under there).

Great video for installation since the kit came with no instructions. I stuffed a towel in the fender gap area to prevent your experience of losing the bracket down the rabbit hole 😄

On the carbon side of the struts, couldn't you just pull the foam off towards the ends?
