That crazy 40s/50s vintage style ebike is amazing! And with a Rohloff too! Wow!

That cast frame has unlimited possibilities. You could truly do just about anything. Man that would look sick pollished.

Great to see so many women up there creating, designing and building.

That integrated kryptonite lock in the seat tube @5:42 is a cool idea and very well executed. Thanks for the coverage Russ

Wow! That last bike from @heavy bikes in Minnesota was the most different thing I've seen in a long time. No tubing! A cast aluminum truss frame like a bridge.

That vintage built electric 'Chrisworks' bike! Sir, you created a masterpiece. Chappeau! Mind you.... *everyone* here is amazing.

20:10 That looks like the e-bike version of the Aerolithe. Stunning.

There were so many great bikes represented with all sorts of materials and finishes. You really need to spend more than a few hours to really appreciate the effort the builders and vendors put forth and didn't have that trade show vibe. I'm looking forward to next year. Glad to have been able to meet and greet a few as I think I've found a builder.

Big congrats for your masterful approach - letting the builders tell their story. Well done.

insanely paradoxical that the usa is so car-centric yet has such rich bicycle culture. i guess we have the european version but i do wish the uk had something like this

Spent a lot of time at the show talking to so many builders and such. I tended to gravitate to the more unique builders. Especially the 2 wooden frame builders. The one from the UK, TWMPA, was an exquisite work of art. Wooden bikes ride exceptionally well and are stronger than you think.
Spent time at the Pinion gear/Gates belt drive booth. No derailleurs is very appealing for longer bike packing rides.
Really liked the industrial venue. It gave it a feel of that garage inventiveness where a lot of these bikes started. FYI They might move it to September to avoid the forest fire smoke. Looking forward to next year. Cheers

That Chrisworks retro e-bike would be the only electric motorcycle I'd ever want, really spectacular! Can't seem to find anything online about him or this bike, would love to learn more.

Awesome video. It warms my heart that there's small, independent creators doing this stuff. Kinda reminds me of the wild stuff in the mid 90s MTB scene.

This video was a real treat! I love bikes so much now as I ditched my car 7 years ago. My health as well as pocketbook have done well.

The 1" threadless steerer is a very underrated feature of the optimal steel bike.
