My grandma always laughed at feminists. She said she'd get the kids off to school. Do a quick clean of the dishes and house. And have the rest of the day off. Shop, hang out with her girl friends. My wife is a stay-at-home mom. I trust her more than I trust the government and daycare centers to raise my baby. She has time to teach my son and cook real food for him. It is so much easier to live a little smaller and be a single-income household, than have two parents in the rat race.

Bill Burr had a routine on this where he said any job you can do in your pajamas is not difficult. Instead of getting up early, preparing yourself for the world, driving to an office, working for a soulless corporation, putting up with a-hole bosses and of that the same woman could be home with her toddlers making popsicle houses, putting a Little Mermaid DVD in the player, making a PB+J sandwich for the kids, sending them to bed for a afternoon nap while mom watches TV and has a glass of wine....How hard is all that? I'm sure it has its moments, but overall who is better off? The 'strong and independent' corporate servant or the stay at home mom?
