Windows NT 4.0 PowerPC (PPC) running on the RS/6000 43p 140!

For the longest time, Windows NT 4.0 was considered unable to run on the common IBM RS/6000 43p model 140 (or 7043-140), but after a YouTuber did a long 4 hour stream I was able to get it working on my box too. As the 43p is easy to obtain, running this on that model is a big deal. The trick is you need a GPU that's supported on NT PPC.

I had a similar computer as a student with a huge monster GPU around 2006. I got it as a scrapped PC, nobody was able to install anything on it. I've successfully installed AIX on it first, then Debian (serial & ssh only) as the GPU was not supported. The display adapter was a real pain in the ass as it was only supported by AIX. As I remember, it was a GXT2000.

very cool, being so similar to the 7248 imagined that someone will manage to run it. Tried to do the same to OS/2 PPC but don't have any SCSI drivers on it manged to run it on the 7248 that have IDE only.
